Residence Tachovské náměstí 5 - living in the centre of Prague

Total renovation of a historic apartment building in the wider centre of Prague, where new modern apartments will be built ready for occupation in summer 2025. The project is successfully sold out.

The revitalization of house No. 5 on Tachovské náměstí is being carried out by a purely Czech company BOUTIQ Development.

A total of 29 new residential units, each with separate energy metering, will be ready for occupation in summer 2025. 2 commercial units (95 m2 and 41 m2) suitable for business will be built on the ground floor of the building.

The renovation of the building will include: new roof, facade, interior plastering, floors, ceilings, wiring, doors, windows with triple glazing and elevator. The entrance hall will be equipped with practical smart boxes.

Tachovské náměstí has recently undergone revitalization and greening, in which the Prague 3 municipal district invested over 80 million crowns. The house is located near the Vrch Vítkov sightseeing park away from the main traffic routes. There are full civic amenities in the vicinity.

The Žižkov tunnel right next to the house shortens the journey to the neighbouring Karlín district to a few minutes walk. Thanks to this you can reach the metro in 13 minutes. It is a minute walk to the bus and 10 minutes to the tram. Depending on the route you choose, Wenceslas Square can be reached in 15 minutes.

Žižkov is an urban district of the capital city, which is conveniently located near the historical centre of Prague. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, tenement houses were built on the local elevation. Therefore, most of the streets are steep. One of the exceptions is Tachovské náměstí, where the terrain is comfortably flatter.

It is here that the corner tenement house No. 5 is located, to which several interesting facts are connected. The phenomenal writer Jaroslav Hašek used to go to the restaurant next door. The first Czech public power station, built by the world-famous inventor František Křižík, was also adjacent to the house. The first Czech professional cyclist Jindřich Vodílek trained at the nearby Ohrada Velodrome. The love of his life was the most famous woman on the planet at that time, the singer Ema Destinnová. The future owners of the flats will thus become "neighbours" of these exceptional Czech personalities.
